Our Ministries for Adults
Small Groups
First CRC encourages every member to be involved in a small group. We have various groups that meet at various times and places throughout the week. We ask that you contact the office so that we can assist you in finding one that of your choosing.
Adult Sunday School
Senior Sisters
We are a group of senior citizens women who meet on the third Wednesday of every month for lunch & fellowship. Call the office or watch the Sunday bulletin for details.
Coffee Break
Come and enjoy coffee, fellowship & nourishment from God’s Word. Coffee Break is a study for women of all ages that meets on Tuesday mornings from 9:30-11:00 a.m. during the fall-spring. Nursery for children 0-2 years and Story Hour for children 3-5 are available free of charge.
Men’s Life
Men’s life is designed for men to come together, share prayer concerns and praises, open God’s Word and reflect on God’s grace in our lives. We meet at 6:00 a.m. (Fall-Spring), take turns providing refreshments and learn from each other. We adjourn at 7 a.m. to live our lives under God’s providential eye. Our discussions are seldom limited and always interesting.
Women of Grace
We meet for a time of fellowship and learning for women of all ages that meet from 9:15-11:15 on Wednesday mornings from fall to spring. Nursery for children 0-2 yrs and Growing in Grace Story Hour for children 3-5 yrs. are both available free of charge.
Intercessory Prayer Group
We meet every Thursday at 1:00 p.m. Purposes for this group are: to seek God and “listen’ for His guidance as we ask Him to reveal His vision for our church to be still before the Lord, and to follow the words of Jesus in John 4:23. This group is free-flowing in nature with praise, bowing hands lifted, etc, unto the Lord.
Monday Prayer Meetings
This takes place at 6:30 on Monday evenings. You are invited to join us as we lift up our hands and praise His Holy name, encourage each other in the Lord, and pray for the specific needs of our Church.
Adult Education
This is a learning opportunity led by our Sr. Pastor. We meet on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of the month at 7:00 p.m.
