Our Ministries for Children and Youth
Children’s Worship
Children’s worship is a time for children ages 3-5 years to worship God on their own level, and to learn about God and experience Him through worship. Children sit with their parents during the early portion of the regular mourning worship and exit for Children’s worship part-way through the service. A prompt on the screen or from the pastor will inform them of this time.
Story Hour
Story hour is for children ages 3-5 and takes place on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings (fall-spring) for children whose mothers attend Tuesday Coffee Break or Wednesday Bible Studies. In Story Hour, children have the opportunity to hear Bible stories and participate in crafts and other activities.
Jr. High Alive
All 7th and 8th graders are welcome to join our group in games, discussions and worship every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month from 7:00 8:45 p.m. during the school year. We have a good time finding out more abo ut God and His Son We hope to see you there! Click here for a calendar of events and meeting times.
HighPer Active
This is our high school group that mets every 1st & 3rd Wednesday of the month from 7:00-8:45 p.m. during the school year. Our time together is a mix of games, learning, talking, and worship. We take weekends away to the coast of mountains for retreats and regularly take time to serve others in our community through projects. WE’re a group that’s uncovering what it means to ge a young man or woman of God, so we’ll be glad to have you join us in the process. Click here for a calendar of events and meeting times.
High School & Jr. High Education
To know God and make Him known we must learn of His character and the good life He has in mind for us. Every Sunday (Fall-Spring) at 9:15 a.m. the 7th – 10th grade students have the opportunity to grow in their knowledge of God, the Bible and other Christian topics in the upstairs classrooms.
Pastor’s Jr. & Sr. Catechism
The High School Jr.’s & Sr’s meet every 2nd & 4th Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. It’s an opportunity to learn the basics of the Reformed faith from the Sr. Pastor, and an opportunity for him to learn about your life and it’s joys/challenges.
Guy’s High School Accountability Group
We meet every Thursday morning at Denny’s at Akers & 198 at 6:00 a.m. This is an opportunity for guys to be part of a group that asks some tough questions of a man trying to follow God through the pressures of being a teenager.
